The light on North Haven is a beautiful yellow, the trees are full of more apples than we’ve seen in years, and on many days the crisp morning air warms up to a perfect 70 degrees.
We’ve got some wonderful events and specials at Nebo this fall.
We’ll be doing 5pm Equinox dinner runs from Rockland for the next two Saturday nights (Sept 24th and October 1st) with a few spots still available. And we’re doing one last Equinox dinner run for our Sunday night Harvest Dinner, October 9th where we’ll be bringing back the popular family-style meal at Nebo to celebrate a wonderful year on the farm. Starting Columbus Day weekend, we’ll be running our weekend special through the end of the year: stay two nights and get a free dinner for two on us (excluding tip, tax, and alcohol).
The farm is full of delicious treats, and many are on the menu this weekend! The tomatillos are perfect and pickled. A second round of fresh, thin green beans has become a new favorite as “green bean fries.” We’ve also got chorizo and fresh eggs from the farm. And, of course, we love to find as many uses as possible for delicious Maine apples. See a sample menu from the weekend of September 23/24. It changes weekly!
The restaurant will be open every Friday and Saturday night through December 31st with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas weekends.
