Nebo Lodge

An Island Inn & Restaurant – North Haven, Maine

Clean & Green

Nebo Lodge maintains a strong commitment to the environment and to the sustainability of the local community. Environmentally friendly and Maine-made options, from cleaning products to light bulbs, are used whenever possible, and the restaurant serves locally grown and produced, mostly organic food–much of it from the island itself. Guestrooms and common areas alike feature gorgeous tufted wool rugs, throw pillows and linens by Angela Adams, a nationally known designer who grew up on the island. Local artwork hangs on the walls, and the shelves are full of works by local writers–even the toothpaste and soap placed in each guest room is made in Maine.
